Local Feedback Sought on Natural Disaster Plan

Residents are encouraged to give their feedback in a survey on local natural disasters to help with the development of the Northern Piedmont Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan.

The survey is available at https://s.surveyplanet.com/gsdbmo48. The information residents provide will help Emergency Management identify local hazard concerns and help them find ways to lessen the impacts of future natural disasters.

Forsyth, Caswell, Davie, Rockingham, Stokes, Surry, and Yadkin counties, along with local jurisdictions and other partners, are working together on the regional plan that will identify and assess the hazard risks in local communities and identify strategies that determine how to best minimize or manage those risks.
