L.I.F.T. – Lifelong Improvements Through Fitness Together

Join N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center for an exciting and energizing fitness program, LIFT – Lifelong Improvements through Fitness Together! This program is intended for inactive older adults but anyone can join ages 18 or older. This program is all about embracing a healthy and active lifestyle while having fun with like-minded individuals.

Date: Tuesdays & Thursdays, starting January 16, 2024 thru March 12, 2024
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Location: Agricultural Building Aud. B -1450 Fairchild Rd. Winston-Salem, NC 27105

The LIFT Program believes that fitness is not just a temporary goal but a lifelong journey. Our program aims to inspire and motivate people of all fitness levels to make positive changes in their lives. Whether you are a seasoned fitness enthusiast or just starting your fitness journey, there is something for everyone at LIFT. Throughout the program, you will have the opportunity to participate in various strengthening activities, learn nutritional basics to support your fitness journey, and sample nutritious snacks.

Additionally, you will be provided with educational material on nutrition, mental well-being, and goal setting to help you achieve holistic improvements. You will also have the chance to connect with fellow participants, creating a supportive and encouraging community.

***IMPORTANT NOTE: To participate in this program, you will be asked to have a medical -release form and liability waiver form completed and turned in prior to the first session, and there will be a pre-assessment completed at the orientation session (first session).
