Interested in Selling Meat in Bulk?

NC Choices launched the MeatSuite directory in March, which connects consumers seeking locally-raised meat in bulk quantities to farms. The site launched earlier than planned, so that consumers and farmers could benefit from the resource as the pandemic situation evolved.

The timing proved to be very good, as over 20,000 NC residents visited MeatSuite in the first months of the launch and several farms reported making sales as a result. Over 100 farms have joined so far and, as the fall season rolls in, we are recruiting more farmers as we prepare for the next round of promotion to consumers.
