Public Comment Open: WS/FC Housing ConPlan

The 2020-2021 Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Consolidated Housing and Community Development Annual Plan is now open for public comment until May 8th, 2020 at 5pm.

The Consolidated Housing and Community Development (CHCD) Plan integrates the assessment of need, program planning, program fund requests, and performance reporting into an integrated, collaborative process for jurisdictions eligible to receive one or more of the four formula entitlement programs. This annual action plan is a comprehensive planning tool for the definition of lower-income and special population housing needs, by type and scale, with accompanying priorities, strategies and programs to address the identified housing and other supportive service needs. The Consolidated Plan also contains non-housing community development needs and activities.
