Individual Development Accounts (IDAs) are asset-specific savings accounts whose deposits are matched at a 4:1 rate. IDAs are designed to help low-to-moderate income persons establish a pattern of behavior that promotes saving over spending. Through this program, participants not only save for an asset, but also gain financial self-sufficiency. The Micro-Enterprise Program is meant to provide access to entrepreneurial resources in the community for businesses that have not been able to receive and benefit from traditional funding. We are currently accepting applications, if interested please contact Yathrip Abdelgadir from Forsyth County at abdelgy2@forsyth.cc or (336) 703-2680, ext.2686. Refer to the attached flyer for more information.
