Keeping weeds at bay doesn’t have to be back-breaking, but it does take thoughtful planning. At this workshop, we’ll review weed life cycles and share effective practices to prevent them from growing, competing with crops, and producing seed. Crop selection, cover cropping, cultivation, mulching, and solarization will be discussed and/or demonstrated.
The workshop will be held on Tuesday, July 26 from 6-8 pm at Diggs-Latham Elementary School Garden (986 Hutton St., Winston-Salem NC 27101).
