Real Estate values are released for 2013.

On February 19, 2013 property owners received a Notice of Reappraisal for their real estate. The Forsyth County Tax Assessor/Collector has held several public forums around the county and spoken on Channel 13 to inform property owners of the purpose and frequency of a countywide Reappraisal and to explain how the assessment is determined based on the market sales. Our office is accepting informal appeals through March 12, 2013. These informal appeals allow us to correct any erroneous data and adjust the value if needed. Any appeal that is not resolved prior to the convening of the Board of Equalization and Review will be scheduled to be heard by this board.
