AQI readings are hovering in the upper Code Green range across the Triad today. High temperatures look to top out in the lower 80s through midweek and the best chance of rain will come during the latter half of Tuesday. With southwesterly winds continuing for the next couple of days, the maritime influence on the air mass should diminish some and ozone readings are expected to reach the lower Code Yellow range. AQI readings are expected to fall back into the upper Code Green range on Wednesday as a wind shift occurs following the passage of the shortwave that will promote storm chances on Tuesday.
